increasesize.in was created to solve a persistent frustration faced by millions of candidates in India: government recruitment portals (like SSC, UPSC, IBPS, Railways, NTA NEET/JEE), state public service commissions, and banking websites rejecting photos, signatures, or documents with the vague error "file size is too small". Most online compressors only make files smaller, while manual workarounds often degrade clarity or introduce artifacts. increasesize.in does safe, client-side metadata padding and dimension tuning directly inside your browser without uploading your sensitive personal files to any server.
Every year, over 50 million candidates in India apply for central and state examinations including SSC (CGL, CHSL, MTS, GD), UPSC Civil Services, Banking (IBPS, SBI), Railways (RRB), and NTA entrances (NEET, JEE Main, CUET). Nearly all these portals impose rigorous validation scripts on uploaded files.
While hundreds of tools exist on the web to compress photos and make them smaller, candidates who cropped their photos on high-end smartphones frequently found their files compressed down to 8 KB or 12 KB. When the form demands a minimum of 20 KB or 50 KB, candidates were left stranded with no safe recourse. We built increasesize.in to provide a clean, free, and private alternative.

How we handle your files
Your personal photos, biometric signatures, and identity documents are processed 100% inside your web browser. Nothing is ever sent to or stored on our servers.
We use HTML5 Canvas and client-side binary parsers to inject valid comment markers. The entire transformation happens in your device's volatile RAM. When you close the tab, the in-memory data is purged completely.
How we keep exam requirements accurate
Exam boards frequently update their online registration portals. We routinely inspect published employment notifications and information bulletins directly from official portals (such as ssc.gov.in, upsconline.nic.in, and nta.ac.in).
Every exam page on increasesize.in clearly displays a “Last verified” date and links directly to the official recruitment authority website so you can double-check the latest bulletin.
